Louis Prima Jr. and The Witnesses was formed in 2006 and have been performing to sellout crowds around the world ever since. Prima Jr. distills the finer elements of his father's five-decade career through a contemporary filter and adds his own indelible stamp. The band  performs original music as well as Prima classics. The rowdy, horn-driven 10-piece band has recorded two albums, “Return of the Wildest!” (2012) features Prima Jr. and the band performing 10 Louis Prima Sr. classics with a razor-sharp rock-and-roll edge. “Blow” (2014) captures the energy and wild fun of a live show with 11 tracks including eight original songs written by Prima Jr. In its first week, “Blow" was the most-added album on American jazz radio. A third album, which will feature original music that builds on the Prima sound, is due to be released toward the end of 2021.
